I’m a Business Designer at IDEO, which means that I help companies figure out how to innovate across all spectrums of the business – not only the product or service but also the way it is priced, brought to market, etc.
In my pre-IDEO days I was variously a strategy consultant, marketeer and design engineer, and spent a lot of time in start-up companies. I also got an MBA along the way at IMD in Switzerland.
This blog is about how thinking about customers can lead to good business solutions, something that we often find is a real dilemma for companies who are driven by trying to hit short-term profit targets.
